The first
task was to walk around Nottingham and solve the riddles that we were given
by the lecturers, along with each riddle was a number that matched a star on
the map. Whilst completing the challenge we had to photograph any interesting
shops or parts of Nottingham that we found visually attractive. Below are some
photographs that I captured:
This task was really fun and it made me think about the different techniques each shop used to promote their items. The decor, shop names and buildings gave away the type of products sold within them. I really enjoyed looking in the vintage/antique shops, they had such a range of things to sell and I would definitely recommend having a look - Hopkinson was the biggest.
